Weinstein, Josh Alper of professional football talk, Jacob Cameron of Sporting News, and others were quick to suggest that Ossenfort was at least referring to midfielder Kyler Murray.
Just last week, it was report that an unnamed Cardinals veteran believes the organization “created a monster” by Bonus Murray with a five-year contract extension reportedly worth $230.5 million with $160 million guaranteed last summer.

As Camenker mentioned, Ossenfort praised Murray’s physical ability when speaking about the 25-year-old on Tuesday.
“I saw what a healthy Kyler could do,” Ossenfort said. “I’ve done a lot to get Kyler from Oklahoma. I know he’s incredibly talented with both his feet and his hands.”
Ossenfort also echoes Kingsbury and said Murray would not be available for Week 1 of the 2023 season following ACL surgery that included several meniscal repairs.
As well as recovering from the initial defeat he suffered on December 12, Murray may have to prove himself to Ossenfort backstage throughout the spring and summer months.
