Netflix is one of the world’s largest streaming services used by millions of people. Though having such a huge user base makes it more vulnerable to hackers. Freelancers can hack into your Netflix account and take advantage of all the services you pay for.
It’s also possible that you lent your Netflix account details to someone and then you crashed. They may still have your login and can view it for free! So, to watch out for such cases, watch out for these signs.
Change profile
Netflix allows you to create up to 5 profiles on your account. You can have a profile of your own, a profile for your family or for your children. You might even have one for your friend. So keep an eye out for any profile changes that you didn’t make, such as changing your image, changing your profile name, or even a new profile has been created.
If you find such activity on your Netflix account, immediately remove the profile from your account. To do so, open Netflix and tap Manage Profiles. Select the profile and press Delete. You should also change your credentials immediately to prevent any further unwanted changes.
Abnormal viewing history
Netflix has a category that shows your history and the shows you’re currently watching. Look out for any shows or movies that you haven’t seen yet that still appear on that list. If that’s the case, immediately change your Netflix login.

The best way to get rid of unwanted people from accessing your Netflix account is to completely log everyone out of the app. To do so, sign in on Netflix through a browser and go to Settings. Tap Sign out of all devices. this will log you out on any device you have. So the next time you open the app, you’ll have to sign in again.
