SACRAMENTO, California – Former Hornets Lindsay Haupt, Kristin Lutes and Carissa Buie will each be inducted into the Sacramento State Volleyball Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 20, on campus.

The event will be held inside the Redwood Room at Sacramento State University Union at an unspecified date. A link to register for the event will be available soon. The day will begin with the annual Alumni Game at 11 a.m., and will be followed later in the day with a Hall of Fame party.

There are currently 20 players in the Sacramento State Volleyball Hall of Fame, and that number will grow to 23 with three bids.

The three players, who played 1995-2007, come together for 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, 10 Big Sky Tournament championships and seven Big Sky regular season titles. Haupt was twice Big Sky MVP and twice Big Sky Tournament MVP, Lutes was three times Big Sky Libero of the year and Buie was the first team to be selected twice in all competitions.

To qualify for the Sacramento State Volleyball Hall of Fame, a player must have athletically qualified as a Hornet, have graduated, and have made a substantial contribution to the program during his or her tenure. surname.
