There are two ways to link your PAN card and Card Aadhaar– or through Income Tax the website to apply electronically or by sending SMS to 567678 or 56161. Here is the step-by-step process:

Link PAN to Aadhaar Online (Through e-filing website)

Step 1: Go to the official portal of Income Tax and click on the designated tab

Step 2: On next page, provide PAN, Aadhaar number, name as mentioned in Aadhaar card and other details

Step 3: Enter the Captcha code. Visually challenged registrants can request an OTP instead of a captcha. OTP is sent on the registered mobile number.

Step 5: Next, click on the ‘Aadhaar Link’ button and complete the process.

Once done, your Aadhaar Card will be linked to your PAN number.
