‘Big lie is also a big trick’: Jan 6 committee hears Trump fraud claims
As the January 6 selection committee hearing continued, the panel released footage of Republican Congressman Barry Loudermilk’s tour the day before the Capitol riots – indicating that ” Individuals on the tour photographed and documented areas of the complex that would normally be of interest to tourists, including the hallways, stairs, and security checkpoints. ”
Mr. Loudermilk denied that the tour provided an opportunity for “snooping” for his visitors, and a letter from the Capitol Police released earlier this week said the force did not consider it questionable. However, the committee’s footage also showed one of Loudermilk’s people attending the riot the next day and filming himself threatening Democrats in Congress.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has denied a claim that the committee is ignoring evidence to support his false claim that the presidency was stolen from him through election fraud.
“THE PEOPLE CANNOT MISS MOMENTS AND DISTANCES THAT TOUCH THE PLACE,” he wrote in capital letters on Truth Social. “The Commission is a SCAM!”
Newly released photos show Pence and family hiding from pro-Trump crowds during Capitol riots
A previously unreleased photo obtained by ABC News shows then-Vice President Mike Pence and his family in hiding after they evacuated the floor of the US Senate when a mob broke into the Palace. U.S. Capitol and stormed the halls of Congress on January 6, 2021.
The image shows Mr. Pence with Second Lady Karen Pence, his brother, US Representative Greg Pence, and former vice president’s daughter Charlotte inside a ceremonial office near the Senate floor. Ms. Pence can be seen drawing curtains for the office.

Loudermilk released statement on January 6 in evidence
Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga) released a statement after the committee released evidence Jan. 6 related to the congressman-led tour the day before the Capitol riots.
“The Capitol Police have made this false allegation, but the Commission is undermining the Capitol Police and doubling down on their smear campaign, releasing so-called evidence of a tour of the Office Buildings. House of Representatives, which I have publicly addressed. As the Capitol Police have confirmed, there is nothing about this visit with suspicious elements. The photos show children holding bags from the House gift shop, opening its doors to visitors and taking pictures of the Rayburn train.
“The false narrative that the Committee and Democrats continue to push, that Republicans, myself included, lead the scouting trips is verifiable false. Nowhere has I traveled with the visitors in the House Office Building on January 5th has been breached on January 6th; and, to the best of my knowledge, no one on that team has been charged with a crime in connection with January 6.
“Again, the Commission published this letter to the press, and did not contact me. This type of behavior is irresponsible and has real consequences – including continued death threats against myself, my family, and my staff.”

Trump offers another word against the committee on Truth Social
Donald Trump has started his day with another side against the committee Jan. 6, the committee dedicated its hearing Monday to unleashing massive amounts of evidence that the former president was clearly informed. that Joe Biden won the election fairly.
