HeroQuest adds a new character at Gen Con 2022, a fierce goblin

First released in 1989, HeroQuest – the classic dungeon crawler board game – is back. The latest version retails in 2021 after a successful crowdfunding campaign. Now, the designers at Avalon Hill are expanding the lineup, adding a new hero with unique and powerful abilities. Called Elethorn’s Rogue Heir, the swashbuckling hero will be available at retail starting October. Pre-orders starting on Wednesday.

HeroQuest has made a name for itself by being among the first campaigns in the box, a pattern that is now among the most successful board game genres around.
