High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will return to Disney Plus for a third season on July 21. A first clip introduces the returning cast – but with a special guest! That’s right: It’s Music High Schoolby Corbin Bleu, who played Chad Danforth’s best friend in the original trilogy.
The Disney Plus program focuses on the high school drama team at the “real” version of the high school, where the icon Disney Channel Original Movie was filmed. The first season follows a group of teenagers as they produce Music High School. Meanwhile, the second season has tapped into Disney’s huge musical arsenal when East High Wildcats takes over Beauty and the Beast.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series stars Olivia Rodrigo, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Renée, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders and Olivia Rose Keegan. In addition to Corbin Bleu, several other Disney Channel legends join the cast, such as Hannah MontanaJason Earles’ Meg Donnelly and the Zombies movie.
