Homeowner Brackenridge finds man at kitchen table eating ice cream on Thanksgiving – CBS Pittsburgh

BRACKENRIDGE, Pa. (KDKA) – A man is facing charges after a Brackenridge homeowner said he found him eating ice cream at his kitchen table on Thanksgiving Day.

The victim told police he had locked the door to his home on Cleveland Avenue before running errands, but when he returned, he found Richard Troup eating ice cream from his freezer, according to the complaint. criminal report.

After confronting the Troup, the victim told Troup officers that he threatened to kill him and did not leave until the victim said he would call the police.
Troup worked for the victim and used the keys he kept after being fired, the criminal complaint said.
He also allegedly broke into the victim’s office, which police said was the apartment complex where Troup lived. He allegedly stole electricity from the victim’s office using an extension cord because his power supply was cut off, the criminal complaint said.

Troup is facing multiple charges, including harassment, theft and criminal trespass.
