Police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred in central Edmonton Thursday night.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers were called to the 106th Avenue and 105th Street area.
Police said a 40-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound Friday morning.
Police said the man died at the scene.
The Edmonton Police Department homicide division has taken over the investigation.

An autopsy has not yet been scheduled.
