Honda CR-V 2023 launched before mid-year launch
The first official images of the sixth generation Honda CR-VA was revealed overnight ahead of the crossover’s full launch in the third quarter of 2022.
The first teasers reveal how the new CR-V’s headlights and grille are handled. The car in the photo looks to be a sportier variant that will have a black painted honeycomb grille.
Also blacked out are the wings that extend from the top of the grille into the headlights, largely separating the LED driving lights from the main and high beams.
The only bright spot at the front is the Honda badging, and surrounds a recess next to the lower air intake.
Behind CR-VAT continue to have hockey stick-shaped taillights. However, unlike the current CR-V, these lights do not appear to extend to the rear fender and have a more square shape.
The bottom of the hockey stick includes three L-shaped lighting fixtures. The license plate holder has moved from the bottom to the center of the tailgate, while the rear chrome bar has been removed.
Unusually for a hybrid model, the CR-V features – possibly fake – exhaust tips with a brushed metal design.
