immortal is a mystery game involving the disappearance of a fictional actress named Marissa Marcel, whose career spanned from the 1960s to the 1990s. The game involves matching camera cuts. from Marcel’s movies to unlock more scenes depicting her on camera and during rehearsals. After sorting through the footage, the player can finally put together a puzzle about what happened to her. It is a Recommended Polygons games and, in our opinion, have one of the best of 2022.
One of the films in Marcel’s biography is a “sex thriller”, therefore immortalmore mature content. Apple’s App Store is famously strict involves games, apps, or other content with an adult theme, especially pornography. Of course, nudity still appears in content on streaming services like Netflix or HBO Max (or honestly, the user’s own iCloud folder), but immortal would be a rare example of an app with sexually explicit material stored on the iOS device itself.
