Houston Crime: Crime Stoppers Search for Man accused of stealing $40K worth of wigs and jewelry


HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Houston police and Crime Stoppers are hoping the public can help them catch a man accused of stealing more than $40,000 in wigs and jewelry.

Police released surveillance photos of a man allegedly breaking into a building in the 15000 block of Westheimer on Highway 6 in September.

He kicked a glass window to enter the building around 2 a.m. on September 16, according to police.

Once inside, police said he had stolen wigs and jewelry, worth more than $40,000.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect, but released two still images from surveillance video of the incident.

Crime Stoppers can pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to a charge and/or arrest of a suspect in this case.
