Meta’s 3D avatar is similar to Snapchat’s Bitmoji and Memoji are from Apple. The 3D avatar is just another animated version of you but for the Meta platform.
Meta’s 3D Avatar is a unique cartoon-like avatar that you can use as a sticker on Facebook, Instagram and Message. You can choose to use them in a chat or include them in your story, or maybe even on WhatsApp someday. And did you know you can also use your 3D avatar on the Meta Quest headset? But first, you need to create a 3D avatar of yourself to use as a sticker. So, follow the steps mentioned below to create your own 3D avatar.
How to create a 3D avatar on Facebook
Open the Facebook app on your phone.
Tap the Menu icon and scroll down, click See more.
Now tap on Avatar; You will now be given an option to see how your avatar will look or edit it.
Tap Edit Avatar to customize your avatar.
How to create 3D avatar on Instagram
Open the Instagram app.
Go to your profile and tap the hamburger icon to bring up the menu.
Now tap Settings, then Accounts.
Select Avatar and you can now edit your avatar to look the way you want.
Click Done to complete the interface.
Your 3D avatar will sync across Facebook and Instagram. So if you’re editing your profile picture on Facebook, the changes will also show up on Instagram, and vice versa. You can also edit your profile picture through the Messenger app. 3D avatars will be available as stickers on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger.
