How to get a Remote Raid Card in Pokemon GO

Raid remote cards can be a best friend for Pokemon GO trainers these days.

With Season of Alola in full force, trainers will want to fight and capture some of this Raid boss’ Pokemon. Two of Alola’s four guardians were released through the Raid, with Tapu Bulu next. Passing the Raid from afar is the easiest way to access these Raid battles.

How can Pokemon GO trainers get multiple Raid Cards from afar?

The most basic way to get a Raid Card remotely is to buy it at the store. These will be worth 100 Poke Coins. In addition, the trainer can also get a pack of three Bypassing the raid from afarwill cost 250 Poke Coins.

However, trainers should note that they can only have a maximum of three Remote Strike Cards at any one time. So even though purchased individually, instructors can only purchase three times.

That being said, however, there are several other ways a trainer can get a free Remote Raid Pass. For example, completing a Research Breakthrough can often earn them a Raid Card from afar.

Furthermore, every Monday this April, a pack with a Remote Raid Card will be available in the store for the low price of one Poke Coin. It’s not often that there are deals like this, so trainers should definitely visit the store on Mondays of the month.

The Remote Raid Card allows the trainer to join the Raid from a safe distance. This new game feature was added during the pandemic so trainers can still battle Pokemon from the comfort of their homes.

There are now some cool Raid bosses that trainers can fight, including legendary Thundurus Therian-Forme. The full breakdown of Raid bosses is as follows:

  • Tier 1: Starly, Blitzle, Shinx, Klink, Rockruff
  • Tier 3: Raichu, Fearow, Alolan Graveler, Druddagon
  • Tier 5: Thundurus Therian-Forme
  • Mega Tier: Mega Manetric

To use these Remote Raid Cards, a trainer simply loads up the Home screen and looks to the bottom left. They should look for a pair of binoculars with a Pokemon silhouette underneath. Clicking this will take the player to a new screen with Raid.

It is recorded how many Raid Passes the trainer has left on this screen. From there, all that’s left to do is click the Battle button and start spamming those moves.
