Thyme is a challenging game, so it’s great that you have loads of opportunities to level up your character. You’ll always want to make sure you’re prepared for the multitude of powerful enemies and towering boss battles that stand in your way, and applying your stats right is often the key to victory.
Thymesia only has three stats to level up, so you can level them up evenly during the early game. But if you want to maximize your effectiveness later on, you can decide to trade some extra health for more damage, or get some extra mana to use the plague weapon. To do so, however, you’ll need to regrow – but the items needed to do so can only be obtained one way.
How to revive
To recover your stat points in Thymesia, you will need to acquire an item called Forgotten Feather. They are only obtained when defeating bosses at the end of levels, so you will have a very limited number of them throughout your journey unless you go back and farm the bosses for more amount. So, be cautious and be mindful of how you allocate your points so you don’t have to grind too many points unnecessarily.
You’ll get your first Forgotten Feather after defeating the game’s first main boss, at which point you’ll unlock the ability to respawn. Simply select “Use Forgotten Feather” while resting anywhere in the game and you’ll reset your level and all of your attributes, allowing you to refinish your build as you see fit. fit.
