How to Remove Deodorant Stains from Clothes

If you have a slight stain from your deodorant roll or you’re in a hurry and trying to get out the door as soon as possible, I have a quick and easy fix. All you need are a few pairs of tights or knee-high tights.

You will want to take the piece of clothing and place it on a flat surface. Pull the tights tight in your hand and rub the stain vigorously. There’s no need to rub vigorously, just make sure it’s a quick motion, with a flick of the wrist. Continue doing this until the stain is gone. This will be able to remove lighter stains and is extremely useful when you are on the go.

To remove larger, tougher stains from deodorant, you’ll essentially want to “flush” the stain out of the garment. This is like turning your shirt inside out and pouring cold water over the indicated line. You can use your fingers or take the excess pieces of fabric and rub them together to really get rid of the deodorant residue. Then, mix baking soda with room-temperature water until it forms a paste-like consistency. You’ll want to use a spatula to apply the mixture directly to the stain and let it soak for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off with hot water.
