How to watch the 2022 New Year’s Eve drop live, plus any TV specials
For even the biggest parties, the siren song about staying indoors has never been stronger than on New Year’s Eve. Even if you have to attend a party or have picked up a great outfit, there’s a certain allure that makes you… don’t do any of it and just hang out. Of course, the night starts off great, but New Year’s Eve tends to be confusing, both drunk and sober. Because vacations are amorphous, everyone has good nights, bad nights, and nights where they do absolutely nothing.
Here are some options to at least have a good night out on New Year’s Eve, no matter where you are.

When: Starts at 10 p.m. ET
What is it: A new tradition may be forming. Last year, Miley and Pete Davidson were able to make what appeared to be an epic Millennial New Year TV show that could last. They tell silly jokes, do funny plays, sing some songs and generally create a fun atmosphere. They were a mess but they were our messy, damn.
Pete, who’s had an extremely busy year, doesn’t have time to participate. But Miley called in the nepo cavalry and added her godmother, Dolly Parton, to the show.
It’s a pretty big upgrade and the show will also feature Latto, Sia, Rae Sremmurd, rock band Lily (?) and singer-songwriter Fletcher (??). The show will also offer some classic NBC synergy with SNLby Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman. The meeting of Dolly Parton and Sarah Sherman, also known as Sarah Squirm from her early days as a stand-up comedian, could very well create an energy never before present in solar system.
New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen
See where: CNN, CNN app or CNNgo
When: Starts at 8 p.m. ET
What is it: It usually goes smoothly in the impermanent world of New Year’s Eve hosts, because how can you ruin a performance like this? You make jokes, you introduce musical guests, and if you’re on CNN, you drink a lot. For years now, for some reason, CNN has chosen New Year’s Eve as its annual opportunity to regain whatever credibility it had as a news organization and just let people waste it. don’t lemon pierced ear after drinking tequila! Everyone loves it!
Until last year, when Bravo .’s Andy Cohen Ramblings with joy as outgoing New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio leaves his office. “The only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a terrible mayor he was. So sayonara suka! Regardless of how accurately he captures the feeling of being in New York, it doesn’t seem like it’s something CNN usually broadcasts.
That feeling reached the ears of the station’s president, Chris Licht, who ordered the hosts to withdraw. But not quite, as Max Tani of Semafor did shown. The directive, which has been repeated over and over, now allows Anderson Cooper and Cohen to drink, although Cooper is clearly “concerned about the perception that only two white homeowners are allowed to drink.” So then that rule was rolled back, with Licht saying he doesn’t like drinking online at all, which apparently pissed Don Lemon off.
So come to CNN this New Year where no one knows what will happen!

Dick Clark has passed away, but Seacrest has held fast to Clark’s vision of a Year. new happy, large.

No matter who you are, chances are you’ll like at least one person on this list. Make sure this is a good time, at least for a few minutes of your favorite movies on air before they get hit by Stamos.
During last year’s drunkenness, CNN’s Andy Cohen also criticized Ryan Seacrest, call the rockin’ crew a “group of losers” whose programming is the equivalent of “watching nothing”. Even though later on sorry, damage has been done. Seacrest will co-host with Billy Porter, Ciara, D-Nice and Rosalyn Sanchez, all of whom will host their own parties around the country with their own music stars.
“I am not advocating drinking while broadcasting. I don’t know how that started as a tradition, but maybe it’s a good idea” to scale back, he says. told United States today. Seacrest promises not to drink until one a.m., so everything will be updated on ABC, starting at 8 p.m.
