‘I need to prioritize my health’

Justin Bieber was forced to pause the rest of his world tour after his health declined.

The 28-year-old pop star announced in a Tuesday post on Instagram Stories that he faced burnout while trying to get back on tour, and that the effort “takes a toll on me.”

“I realized I need to prioritize my health right now,” he wrote. “So I’m taking a break from touring for the time being.”

I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get well.

Earlier in the summer, Bieber postponed a series of concerts in New York City, Washington, DC and Toronto and revealed that he had diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare neurological condition. The male singer shared a video showing how the virus paralyzed half of his face.

“It was from this virus that attacked the nerve in my ear and my facial nerve and left my face paralyzed.” he say at that time. “I can see it, my eyes don’t blink. I can’t smile on one face. This nostril won’t budge.”

After a couple of weeks off, Bieber tried to return to the European tour, but said his body couldn’t handle the physical demands of performing.

“I’ll be fine,” he added, “but I need time to rest and get well.”

In total, the 70 days of Justice World Tour have been canceled until the end of March next year. Bieber has plans to tour Europe and Asia, as well as through South America and Australia.
