Hello all of you. I’m Tami Rose and I love Mississippi. I love our beautiful open spaces and all our wonderful waterways. I come from a beautiful country where people are precious and kind to each other in daily life. We hold doors for each other and make eye contact and talk to strangers. We are the hospitable state and we strive to make everyone feel welcome.
However, on a political level, especially where history is involved, we can be unspeakably cruel to each other.
I cannot say how ashamed I am of my condition today. I grieve that Mississippi will play a major role in turning the tide Roe v. Wade.
