I was stuck in my own toilet THREE DAYS after cracking the door – I wrote my will on the wall in lipstick
A woman has finally been rescued after being trapped in her own toilet for three days when she accidentally broke a doorknob.
The 54-year-old became so desperate after no help that she even wrote her will on the bathroom wall with lipstick.
The incident happened on August 22, when the woman had just finished showering at her home in Bangkok, Thailand, when the bathroom door handle got stuck.
The woman who lived alone in a 4-storey townhouse began to cry for help, but because her house had a sturdy steel gate around it, no one could hear her screams.
After three days stuck in the bathroom alone, it seems the woman has given up and even wrote a goodbye letter to her loved ones on the bathroom wall.
The letter read: “I was stuck on the 22nd and couldn’t get out…
“I drank tap water to stay alive and if I ran out of water, I would probably die.
“I shouted for help, but no one could hear, no one came.”
The woman was eventually rescued when her sister, worried she didn’t call back, contacted the police.
She said: “I tried calling many times and still no one answered.
“I saw her car was parked in front of the house so she didn’t come out. I was worried that something might happen to her.”
Officers used pliers to cut padlocks and searched the property before finding the woman in the bathroom.
The woman said: “I tried to break down the door and call for help but no one heard me.
“I used the stuff inside the bathroom to break the door but it was very sturdy. I didn’t have food and tap water to survive.”
Rescuers found the woman in general good health but she was taken to hospital for further evaluation.
