How to Book IELTS Exam Dates in India?
If you have decided to attempt the popular English proficiency test this year, then you can either book your IELTS exam dates via online or offline modes. Here are the steps to book your IELTS exam dates in India:
Online IELTS Registration
Visit the official website for IELTS IDP India and register for the appropriate test by first creating an account with IELTS IDP India and then selecting the appropriate IELTS exam date and test centre.
Offline IELTS Registration
Interested candidates will also be able to book their IELTS exam dates in India by either registering in person or sending the application form via courier.
- In-Person Registration: Visit the regional or head office for IELTS IDP India, request online registration, fill out the application form and pay the IELTS exam fees.
- By Courier Registration: Download or collect the IELTS registration form, fill it out, attach the necessary documents such as the first and last pages of your passport, attach a DD for the application fee and courier the same to the registered address for the IELTS IDP office in India.

- Candidates must request rescheduling IELTS exam dates at least 5 weeks prior to the scheduled exam date.
- They should also present valid proof of emergencies, like illness, injury, death of a relative or any other valid reasons including being a victim of a crime or an accident.

- Candidates will only be able to cancel their IELTS exam dates once.
- The new IELTS exam date should be within the next three months of the original test date.
