Charles Leclerc believes Ferrari can hold off Red Bull in the corners but it will be difficult if they close the straight line at the Miami GP. Speaking to Sportskeeda during the press conference after the FIA qualifying, the Ferrari driver is confident they will have a strong pace for race day.
When asked by Sportskeeda if it’s hard to keep the Red Bulls in a straight line, Leclerc replied:
“Of course if they are near us, it will be very difficult. But we had this advantage in the corners, hoping that they would be too far away to have a chance to get past us in the straights. Only time will tell and we’ll just see that tomorrow. But again the speed of the car is quite strong. So we will focus on ourselves and see where we are tomorrow.”
