Iggy Azalea says Playboi Carti custodians’ comments and praise don’t reflect their real-life interactions

Iggy Azalea doesn’t want to be mentioned, especially if Playboi Carti is the one talking! If you just followed their story, Iggy and Carti share a nearly two-year-old son named Onyx. On Tuesday and Wednesday, she took to Twitter to refute recent statements Playboi made during an interview with XXL. To her, his words do not reflect their real-life interactions, which do not seem to include direct contact.

Iggy declined to comment on Carti .’s care

While answering questions about his interests and fatherhood experience, Playboi focused on the responsibilities of his role. In a few words, he told the publication that he cares about “a lot of people,” along with their bills. His speaking list includes mom, family, “young moms” and their son. But Iggy says that Playboi is pushing that answer too far – at least the part that mentions her.

“Take care of me? Lmaooooo let’s not go now,” Iggy tweeted on April 12, the same day the online version of Carti’s interview was released.

While responding to Iggy’s tweet, user @smurkiojay pointed out “many good things” Carti said. The first time Carti mentioned Iggy’s name in the article, he was talking about Onyx’s upcoming birthday on April 27 and his gift of “crazy necklaces”.

Playboi Carti praises Iggy like a mother

After describing their son as “beautiful,” he tenderly talks about Iggy’s motherhood skills. In fact, Carti even includes print instructions for XXL Writer.

“…And Iggy, she’s a great mom. I love her to death. I’m single. She is currently single. But it’s one of the best moms in the world,” says Carti. “And that’s what you have to put in the book, do you hear me? I love her to death. She is the most amazing mother in the world.”

To conclude the article, the writer asked if Carti would like to add anything. He, again, takes the time to compliment Iggy and Onyx.

“Yes, just make sure [put in] that I love my mother and children. It definitely needs to know that [Iggy] being the best mom in the world,” says Carti. “My son is perfect. He’s just too perfect. I need to handle him a bit. ”

However, Iggy insists those compliments weren’t enough to overshadow their real-life relationship.

“You have been fooled,” Iggy replied to user @smurkiojay. “I am not in a relationship with a man whom I am not even remotely willing to claim to pay my bills. I pay my bills. Second, saying nice things for an interview sounds great but in real life he talks to me like sh*t is so bad that I have to stop all direct contact. ”

She continued, claiming that Playboi Carti’s team called her about interview.

“His team called about the interview, hoping for my silence as they know what my reaction will be,” Iggy tweeted. “I really appreciate being called a great mom but when that doesn’t reflect what he has to say in real life, I don’t want to be mentioned anymore.”

Iggy concluded her Twitter incident by saying she was “sure” this would be the last time Carti would mention her in an interview. In her words, “everyone wins.” She then announced that she was signed out, before making it clear that she was “a moderate.”

Sometime between Wednesday and Thursday morning, Iggy apparently deleted her tweets. At this point, Playboi Carti remains tight-lipped about its response.
