Illinois parolee arrested for selling meth to MEG dealers at Davenport home | Crime & Local Court


Whittinghill is currently on parole from the Illinois River Correctional Center.

At a hearing on December 20, 2018, in Rock Island Circuit District Court, Whittinghill pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply at least 15 grams but less than 100 grams of methamphetamine. The charge is a Class 1 felony under Illinois law, punishable by imprisonment from 4 to 15 years.

Associate Judge Norma Kauzlarich of Rock Island County sentenced Whittinghill to seven and a half years in prison.

According to Illinois Department of Corrections electronic records, Whittinghill was paroled and released from the Illinois River Correctional Center on June 8, 2021. He is scheduled to be released on parole on June 8, 2023. However, Illinois officials were able to revoke his pardon. and send him back to prison.

According to electronic records from the Rock Island District Court, Whittinghill’s criminal record dates back to 1989 when he had a previous conviction for a Class 4 drug felony and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.

In 1993, he was convicted of two counts of forgery and sentenced to one year of probation. In 1998, he was found guilty of residential burglary and sentenced to 5 years in prison. In 2003, he was found guilty of drug possession and sentenced to 30 months of probation. However, he violated his probation and was sentenced to two years in prison. In 2007, he was found guilty of theft and sentenced to 30 months of probation. In 2010, he was found guilty of theft and sentenced to four years in prison. In 2012, he was found guilty of retail theft and sentenced to 18 months in conditional prison.
