Sam Barlow, creator Her story and Lieis back with a new game and a new mystery. Immortality revolves around the story of actor Marissa Marcel, who made three unreleased films, then disappeared. The game’s first trailer, released on Wednesday, gives us our first look at each movie and tells us exactly how players can piece the clues together.

ImmortalityThe game’s trailer billed the game as an interactive movie trilogy. Based on gameplay footage, it looks like players will have to make movie cutscenes to find out exactly what happened to Marissa. Players can click on specific areas of each scene where they are shown and will be taken to a new scene where the character or object they click on will be in a similar pose or position. Based on the trailer, it looks like Immortality there are dozens of scenes in each and possibly all three movies.

To date, all of Barlow’s games have revolved around unraveling mysteries using unique, often fairly straightforward gameplay mechanics. Her story allows players to browse through interrogation scenes using keyword searches, while Lie allowing players to use some of the desktop features for their control work.

Immortality No release date yet, but will launch this summer on Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Pass, and Windows.
