‘Impractical Jokers’ Star Joe Gatto Suddenly Leaves Hit Prank Show Due to Personal Issues
Joker is not realistic star Joe Gatto announced Friday night that he’s leaving the hit truTV prank show, cite personal problems as the cause for his sudden passing, ending a decade of stunts with his closest friends.
“I’ve spent a decade of my life building this brand and couldn’t be more proud of what it has achieved,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “However, due to some problems in my personal life, I had to leave. Bessy and I have decided to part ways amicably, so now I need to focus on being the best dad and coworker to our two incredible kids. ”
The 45-year-old was one of the founding members of the comedy group The Tenderloins, along with his high school friends Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray and Sal Vulcano.
Gatto’s decision came as a shock, like Joker is not realistic just renewed for a 10th season with truTV and the comedy team is in the process of developing a new scripted and unscripted show for HBO Max, as well as with TNT and TBS, based on Limit line.
In a separate statement, three other stars lament that they were sad to see Gatto leave but insist they will continue Joker is not realistic without him, teasing that a “new chapter” will arrive in January.
