In particular, a player who never leaves the latest entry is a Nintendo fan and a Twitter user @ MetroidMike64. This talented individual went so far as to release ‘Super Mario Bros. 5’. It’s all unofficial, of course, but it’s still quite the feat.
“I hope you guys delete your copy of Super Mario Maker 2 and give my Super World a try. I’ve poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this over the past 7 years. I hope you enjoy. this game as much as I have.”
This project has apparently been “7 years” in the making – since the original release Super Mario Maker game, and features “40 full courses spanning 8 worlds”. Included 24 Super Mario World-themed courses, 14 based on Super Mario Bros. 3 sample, 2 courses from Super Mario Bros.and it’s “just” made up of classic Super Mario models.
Metroid Mike 64 describes the gameplay as “classic Mario” with the aim of providing a playing experience as if Nintendo made it. All 7 Koopalings act as world final bosses and feature multiple world maps with branching paths. The Maker ID you will need is: 0G9-XN4-FNF.
