IND vs SA 2022: Zaheer Khan on one area where Rishabh Pant can improve as captain


Before India pacer Zaheer Khan stated that Rishabh Pant relying too much on his instincts when given the captain’s armband. Zaheer has found similarities between the youngster’s batting and leadership, pointing out that for him, the two extremes.

However, Zaheer praised the youngster’s attitude towards the game and asserted that the 24-year-old is sure to get better as an experienced cricketer. 43 year old man says:

“One thing that stands out about him is that he is very serious about his cricket. That no one can question. He is very passionate about the game. He wants to do things at a fast pace. With time, he will get what he wants because he knows where he is going.”

In the four games of the T20I series so far, the Indian captain has scored scores of 29, 5, 6 and 17.

Ahead of the decisive match in Bengaluru, Zaheer insisted that Team India had no reason to make any changes to their current roster. He say:

The final T20I match of the series between India and South Africa will be held at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday (June 19).
