India’s active caseload count has increased to 15,873, representing 0.04% of the total number of positive cases in the country.
The recovery of 1,755 patients in the last 24 hours brings the cumulative total to 4,25,19,479. Hence, India’s recovery rate is 98.75%.
During the same period, a total of 4,36,532 inspections were carried out across the country, bringing the total to 83.47 crore.
While the weekly positivity was at 0.54%, the daily positivity reported a significant spike at 0.59%.
More than 2.65 crore teenagers have received their first dose of Covid-19 jab since the start of the immunization series for this age group.
