Following a continuous downward trend, India’s positivity count is 11,058, representing 0.03% of the country’s total number of positive cases.
A total of 818 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative total of recovered patients since the start of the pandemic is now 4,25,06,228 Hence, India’s recovery rate is 98.76 %.
Also during this period, a total of 4,34,877 tests were carried out in the whole country. So far, India has carried out more than 83.08 crore accumulation tests.
The weekly positivity rate in the country is currently 0.25%, however the daily positivity rate is also reported as 0.23%.
In terms of vaccinations, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 186.22 crore according to provisional reports until 7am on Thursday. This was achieved through 2,26.31,632 sessions.
More than 2.36 crore adolescents have received their first dose of the vaccine since the start of the immunization series for this age group.
