The recovery of 14,947 patients in the last 24 hours brought the cumulative total to 4,23,53,620. As a result, India’s recovery rate is 98.62%, said the Union Health Ministry.
Also during this period, a total of 8,82,953 tests were carried out in the whole country. So far, India has carried out more than 77 crore accumulation tests.
Meanwhile, the weekly positivity rate has dropped to 0.99% while the daily positivity rate is 0.74%.
With the administration of more than 210,000 doses of Covid vaccine in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid vaccination coverage has reached 178 crore as of Wednesday morning. This was achieved through 2,05,41,983 sessions.
As of Thursday morning, more than 15.19 doses of the Covid vaccine have not been used, and an unused number of Covid vaccines are still available to states and union territories, the Department of Health said.
