India head coach Rahul Dravid has tested positive for COVID-19 and has not traveled with the team led by Rohit Sharma but has left for Dubai to compete in the Asian Cup, which starts on 27 May. 8. “We have not received a call yet on whether VVS will come to Dubai from Harare. A call will be made accordingly and if required he will join. Until then Paras Mhambrey will be in charge. All other members are fit and left UAE earlier today,” he also confirmed.

While the majority of the team’s members leave for Mumbai on Tuesday morning, vice-captain KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda and substitute Axar Patel will travel from Harare, after completing their duties in Zimbabwe.
