Inmate dies at Prince Albert, Sask. correctional centre – Saskatoon

An inmate on the Prince Albert Correctional Centre was declared useless on Thursday after he was discovered unresponsive in his cell.

A corrections ministry assertion mentioned the 53-year-old was discovered unresponsive in his cell. Corrections workers known as EMS and began life-saving measures.

The person was declared useless round 6:20 p.m. The inmate’s subsequent of kin have been notified.

The Prince Albert Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service have been notified and are investigating the dying.

The corrections ministry can even be conducting an inner investigation.

The assertion added the dying will not be associated to COVID-19 and no foul play is suspected presently.
