INS Satpura visits Manila during deployment to South China Sea
Indian Navy vessel (INS) Satpura has visited Manila while on deployment to the South China Sea (SCS).

Enhancing military cooperation with navies of friendly countries, Indian Navy Vessel (INS) Satpura, on a deployment to the South China Sea (SCS) and Western Pacific, visited Manila from 3 to 6//// 6.
The visit aims to strengthen the mutual working relationship and interoperability between the Indian Navy and the Philippine Navy.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer, Captain Saket Khanna, met with Senior Lieutenant General Roy Vincent Trinidad, Deputy Commander of the Philippine Fleet.
INS Satpura was visited by officers and sailors from the Philippine Navy, who were briefed on the design and construction of modern stealth destroyers.
Officers from both navies also participated in football and basketball friendlies.
INS Satpura is a 6,000-ton guided-missile stealth frigate designed and built domestically that is equipped to search for and destroy enemies in the air, on land and at sea. The ship is part of the Eastern Fleet based in Visakhapatnam.
