Inside The Hollywood Reporter’s Star-Studded Emmy nominated for party night – The Hollywood Reporter

Nominated Night, Co-Organized The Hollywood Reporter and SAG-AFTRA, toasted this year’s Emmy Awards with a star-studded celebration on Saturday night.

The event, held in a penthouse in West Hollywood, drew Emmy Award nominees Andrew Garfield (Under the Banner of Heaven), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary School), Christina Ricci (Yellow jacket), Melanie Lynskey (Yellow jacket), Sam Richardson (Ted Lasso), Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso), Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso), Nicholas Braun (Heir), J. Smith Cameron (Heir), Hannah Einbinder (Hacks), Kaitlyn Dever (Dopesick), Natasha Rothwell (White Lotus), Michael Stuhlbarg (Dopesick), Nicole Byer (Nail it!), Harvey Guillen (What do we do in the dark), Danny Strong (Dopesick), Arian Moayed (Heir and Invented Anna), Himesh Patel (Station 11), Robin Thede (A black lady sketch show), Tony Shalhoub (Miraculous Mrs. Maisel), Tom Verica (Invented Anna) and Sheryl Lee Randolph (Abbott Elementary School), among others. Nominations Night, sponsored by Heineken with service from Casamigos and FIJI water, helped mark this year’s full return to Emmy celebration since the pandemic began, with less than 48 hours remaining. Then comes the biggest night of television.

Inside the indoor-outdoor party, with 360-degree views of West Hollywood, Garfield held the trial, sharing a laugh (and expressing Ted Lasso fandom) with Richardson and Jimoh, and words to Bradley Whitford, who also chatted with Heir the stars Braun and Moayed. Einbinder also played butterflies on social media, taking pictures with Brunson (who later shared a hug with Byer) and QuitJen Tullock.

West story star Rachel Zegler appeared, sat with Byer and Guillen, then chatted with Yellow jacket Star Jasmin Savoy Brown. Her co-stars Ricci and Samantha Hanratty, who played different eras of the same character in the Showtime series, stopped for a photo together, when additional Yellowjacket Tawny Cypress arrived late in the evening and exclaimed squealed at Ricci’s place. Lynskey and her husband Jason Ritter entered shortly after but not before Ritter had a chance to greet Garfield at the footman.

Shalhoub spent time with Miraculous Mrs. Maisel co-star Kevin Pollak and co-stars Maisel duo Luke Kirby and Michael Zegen share a drink on the field, and Quit stars Britt Lower and Tramell Tillman took part in the rounds. In one of the more unexpected interactions of the night, Patton Oswalt chatted with Happiness actress Chloe Cherry; Along the way, Braun tells Oswalt he’s a big fan.

HBO’s Casey Bloys caught up with former co-star Michael Ellenberg, while Fox’s Charlie Collier shared bar conversations. There was a lot of talk about who would win Monday night, with much interest in what feels like a battle between Lynksey and Zendaya for Best Actress in a Drama.

In the evening there is a charcuterie and appetizers on a tray. Steve Levitan, Abbi Jacobson, Patrick Fabian, Cristo Fernández, Poorna Jagannathan, Amy Landecker, Oswalt, Nasim Pedrad, director Adam Nee and Anna Camp were among the additional guests.

DJ Kiss spins the tunes in the room throughout the night, with Thede breaking it at the DJ counter to end the evening.
