Intel previews next-generation Thunderbolt, based on USB4 v2, with speeds up to 80Gbps bidirectional, or 120Gbps unidirectional and 40Gbps unidirectional for “multi-video use”– Intel is showing a preview of the next generation of Thunderbolt, which it says could “deliver three times the capabilities of Thunderbolt 4”.
