A fake billboard with the Target logo, saying “coming soon!” was placed in front of the building.
UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown made a Facebook post explaining that the billboard is fake and there are currently no plans to build a Target in Marshalltown.
Part of the post reads “Sorry, people, there’s no truth to this.”
Unity Point Health is not opposed to the idea of Target to property. The post said “property is still on sale (if you’re listening, Target).”
