iQoo Z6 Lite 5G spotted on BIS website; Hints coming
The iQoo Z6 Lite 5G has been reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website hinting at the handset’s upcoming launch. According to a report, iQoo Z6 Lite could launch in India in September. The smartphone could launch as a rebranded version of Vivo T1x, which was launched in India last month. iQoo Z6 series will launch in China on August 25th. The upcoming series of handsets in China will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
According to a recent report by MySmartPrice, iQoo Z6 Lite 5G has spot on the BIS website. The listing has also indicated that the smartphone will come with model number I2208. The report also adds that the BIS listing hints at the upcoming launch of the smartphone although the handset’s specifications are yet to be revealed.
A recent report said that iQoo Z6 Lite could launch in India this September. As mentioned earlier, the handset could hit the market as a rebranded version of the Vivo T1x, which was launched in India last month.
Alternatively, the iQoo Z6 Lite can cost around Rs. 500 to Rs. 700 less than Vivo T1x. Vivo T1x goes on sale in India for Rs. 11,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and goes up to Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB memory model. The phone is also expected to launch in different colors than the Vivo T1x.
To recall, the iQoo Z6 series is set to launch in China on August 25. According to the technology company, the upcoming series of handsets in China will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. The iQoo Z6 series will also feature six layers of ice-sealed liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat (rough translation).
