Iran’s Covid orphans: ‘She keeps asking where daddy is’
Round 51,000 youngsters in Iran have misplaced a minimum of one father or mother to Covid, in accordance with Iranian officers.
4-year-old Eliza is one among them. Her father died two months after her fourth birthday, leaving her mom to take care of her alone.
BBC Persian’s Rana Rahimpour spoke to Eliza and her mom Afrooz about how they’re coming to phrases with the loss.
