In fact Screenrant US reported Sam Raimi is open to returning to direct Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire if the situation were to arise. Both director Sam Raimi and actress Kirsten Dunst have said that they would be interested in a potential return in a fourth film, while Tobey Maguire declared that he is “open for anything”.
In conclusion, the Spiderman franchise has come a long way from it’s humble beginnings to being a part of the Marvel Universe. In fact, although Spider-Man has had a memorable reputation over the past two decades, its first blockbuster trilogy directed by Sam Raimi featuring Tobey Maguire still stands out. With Tobey’s appearance in the last Spiderman film, there seems to be hope that Spiderman 4 will be resurfaced from the dead and revisited once more.
