Tell us about your profession. What is the life of an entrepreneur like?

Everything seems to have led to this – the last 18 years I’ve listened to and learned from some incredible business mentors, but at the same time it’s been a lot harder than I imagined. I thought I was busy traveling the world as a model, but there’s nothing like the pressure and time to commit to building and running your own business. But seeing customers using Saltair and loving your product is unbelievable and bizarre. It has given me unlimited ambition and I am delighted to see not only the brand grow, but also myself, in this new chapter.

What has been your biggest learning in the past year?

The pressure to support not only my family but the people I work with never goes off. You care deeply about investing so much time and love into what you are creating. Some days, it can feel overwhelming.

How would you describe your personal style?

Comfortable and confident. Sometimes pragmatic, sometimes sensual and simple.

Let’s start your morning routine. What does a typical day look like to you?

Trying to complete a to-do list that I can never seem to complete, but dealing with feelings of inadequacy and knowing that spending time with my kids in the afternoon is always a priority. head.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

Drink water and let my baby snuggle.

What morning rituals have you established for success?

Always shower and cleanse with Saltair (now obsessed with Exotic Pulp because it’s so juicy and fruity, keeps me out of winter and excited for spring.) Then I try. Think about your day and prepare yourself mentally.

Describe your morning beauty routine from start to finish

After showering, I apply lotion with the right Saltair fragrance that I use in the shower so my bathroom really smells like spa. When I moisturize my body, I make a number of powerful self-affirmations that help set the tone for the way I feel about myself. Then I start with Face Reality moisturizing toner and while it’s still damp I apply the Naturium Vitamin C blend followed by Face Reality Clear Derma mixed with their SPF 30 sunscreen. I don’t have much time, so I use some eye drops to wake up and brush my brows. Then I put on some of my favorite lip balms (Pink Matter by MAKE) and I’ve been getting better at staying scent since I discovered Phlur Missing Person – my absolute favorite new scent I.

What do you eat in the morning?

In winter, I like oatmeal with berries. Recently, I made a delicious green smoothie with some protein and collagen to fill me up until lunch.

What will we always find in your fridge?

Strawberries (I feel like we eat 3 cans a week between us!) And European Butter – I wouldn’t use anything else and I use it for all of my cooking.

What’s always on your nightstand?

Lip balm, silk eye masks, reusable water bottles and tissues – my allergies have gone crazy since moving to Austin.

What’s your favorite getting ready soundtrack?

Anything 90’s and 2000’s RnB

Do you exercise in the morning?

I’ve been very inconsistent since giving birth, but I’m trying my best and I’m so excited I’ve just started working with Oxe Fit, who have created the most advanced home gym in the world. I’ll get mine in the coming months and the XS1 has hundreds of cardio and strength workouts to deliver a truly incredible workout in less than 30 minutes.

What is your daily uniform?

Sports for sure – that’s a big deal when I try to put on jeans. I also like a comfortable and slip-on knit dress when I want to feel more polished and feminine.

What is one or two things you do every day to live a happier life.

Put my phone down for at least 2 hours in the afternoon to be with my kids and we try to use it outdoors at the park or with friends. I love cooking dinner for me and my little family – we sit together, ask each other how our day was, and say thank you. It’s really special

If you could credit your success to one thing, what would it be?

Ambitious illusions and confidence. I was rejected for 10 years, and I kept fighting and trying again with a different angle.

Let’s finish these sentences…

I never leave the house with yout… my lip balm and phone.

If there were more hours in the day, I would… Move more and spend more time outdoors.

Morning healthy habits: positive affirmation.

Worst Morning Habit: throw in the same clothes that don’t make me feel cute.

One thing I want to know is… My compassion and the support of others.

One thing I fear the most… Being away from my baby and missing a moment I can’t go back.

When I feel scared, I… Breathe and make sure I spend time with my baby without the device.

The book I always recommend: Michelle Obama Become.

One trait you need to be successful in life is…confident.
