Caitlin Maurice (Golf) – Named a New Student of Big Sky Conference and won the title of second team in the whole tournament… averaged 75.86 in 29 rounds… three times in the top 20, of which had a seventh draw at the Brickyard Collegiate and a sixth at the Big Sky Championship in two of the last three events of the year… the lowest round was in the first round of the Evie Odom Invitational where she shot 68… also totaling 219 (68-76-75) at the event for her lowest 54 points. – score of the year… has four equal or lower rounds in the season.
Emma Morgenthaler (Gymnastics) – Freshman qualified for the Seattle Area NCAA as a vault expert… was named first team all-MPSF on vault and earned recognition the second team’s recognition is the all-round good… played on vault and deck in all 11 meetings and was an all-rounder in the last 10 of the season… leading the team with an NQS of 9,860 on vault, good fourth in school history… to score 9,850 or higher on vault in five meetups… set the school’s freshman record with 9,925 to win the event against the Air Force.
Lexie Webb (Softball) – Third team selected in the Pacific region and second team selected by the Big Sky Conference… one of three Hornets to start all 55 games… ending with a midpoint average is 0.337 (57 for 169), 27 runs, six doubles, 16 home, 35 RBI, base total of 113, and miss rate .669 … 16 home players win earned the second-best singles season title in Sacramento State history… safe in 41 games, including streaks of nine and eight games… also appeared in 20 games in the ring for Hornets, ended with five wins and 71.0 innings thrown.
