Chelsea The fans are very unhappy that Mason Mount will once again start for the Blues at home against AC Milan at the UEFA Champions League on October 5.
The 23-year-old is yet to score a goal this season and has provided just one assist in nine games for Chelsea throughout the campaign.
The player had a stellar season last term when he was the top scorer in the Premier League, scoring 11 goals in 32 games.
However, he is yet to make any impact this season. Graham Potter appears to be returning to a three-back system for a crucial encounter in west London, which will allow Mount to play on the right flank.
The Blues are currently at the bottom of the Champions League table having not won either of their opening two matches. They lost to Dinamo Zagreb and drew against Red Bull Salzburg.
Chelsea have barely played in recent weeks, and the former Brighton & Hove Albion boss is hopeful that his time on the training ground has paid off.
Chelsea have struggled in their encounter with Red Bull Salzburg in Europe before. However, show an improvement in their most recent Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, which won 2-1.
However, that did not stop supporters of the west London club from complaining on Twitter ahead of their clash with the Italian champions. Many are complaining about Mount’s inclusion:
Potter’s old, boring Sane wished he could sell Mount. He is very annoying

Premier League boss claims James Maddison is on the same level as Chelsea star Mason Mount
James Maddison provided a stunning display for Leicester City at home against Nottingham Forest this week. Post that, calls have grown for the player to feature in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Mount recently ended his prolonged goal drought for the Three Lions, but many have called for the Chelsea playmaker to be scrapped. Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for Maddison after Leicester’s 4-0 win over Forest, as he told Sky Sports (according to TalkSPORT):
“Yeah. I can only imagine how difficult it is for Gareth with so many good players. James has shown and proven that he is there with the best talent. To have someone like that, even when he’s not playing, on the bench, someone can come in and bring that personality. If he plays in front of 150,000 people, he’s going to be exactly the same. If you’re ever stuck in the game. , he could show up and be a game changer.”
He added:
“It’s tough because there are so many good players. I have a lot of respect for young people like Mason Mount, who is a top player, and Phil Foden is fantastic. He’s at that level, absolutely no doubt. about that. I hope from now on and when the team is selected, they can find a way to add such a talent.”
