James Corden Tests Positive for COVID-19, Late Episodes Canceled – The Hollywood Reporter
James Corden announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, Late evening The presenter revealed her groundbreaking diagnosis. “I just tested positive for COVID 19,” Corden wrote. “I’m fully vaccinated, boosted, and for this, I’m lucky enough to say I feel absolutely fine.”
He also announced that CBS’ The Late Late Show “Will not air for the next few days.”
Corden’s positive test followed the late-night hosts who also revealed their groundbreaking diagnoses. Late night Host Seth Meyers announced earlier this week that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is feeling fine thanks to his vaccine and booster. Meyers canceled Late Night programs for the coming week.
“We’re canceling the rest of our shows this week, so stay tuned next Monday to see what cool venues we’ll be trying out as a studio,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon revealed in an Instagram post that he tested positive over the holiday season. The late-night presenter shared a photo of him covered in his face in an isolation room and wrote: “Hey guys, on the first day of the holidays I tested positive for Covid. I have been vaccinated and given boosters, which makes me fortunate to have only mild symptoms.” He also thanked NBC “for taking the testing protocols seriously and doing a great job.” Fallon recovers in time for The Tonight Shows’s Monday back after the break.
