Jason Sudeikis Nods To Ted Lasso In Foo Fighters Love Dies Young Video – The Hollywood Reporter

Jason Sudeikis becomes an antagonist of Ted Lasso in the latest Foo Fighters video for his single “Love Dies Young”.

The comedian and actor has a starring role – alongside the band, whose faces overlap the bodies of synchronized swimmers – in the nearly eight-minute video for the song off the rockers’ Drugs at midnight album.

Directed by Foo Fighters founder, guitarist and vocalist Dave Grohl, the video follows a swimming coach who takes a swim too seriously as he delivers a unique speech to get his team ready. While talking to Blink-182 Bassist Mark Hoppus for Radio after school Sudeikis said the song was the first time the actor heard a song and “felt like I’d watched a whole movie about it.”
