Jim Irsay: Colts will have new HC within ‘days, not hours’
The University of Indianapolis needs a new head coach, but it seems boss Jim Irsay is in no hurry to make his decision.
It’s been three months since Irsay fired Frank Reich after a 3-5-1 start and despite going through two rounds of interviews and seeing many vacancies filled across the league – including that Reich has chance of redemption as head coach of the Carolina Panthers — Indy still doesn’t have a head coach.
According to Irsay on Twitter, it looks like no decision will be made anytime soon. There’s an old saying when something is about to happen that it will happen “within days, if not hours.”
Irsay popped that phrase to his head, saying the Colts would have a final decision “coming in days, not hours.”
