Johnny Depp wins defamation case against Amber Heard; Kushal Tandon tweets ‘This looks like a personal win’


A jury on Wednesday (June 1) ruled in favor of Johnny Depp in the ex-wife defamation lawsuit Amber Heardproves her position that Heard fabricated claims that she was abused by Depp before and during their brief marriage.

Actor Kushal Tandon tweeted about the incident and congratulated Johnny Depp. His tweet read, “This looks like a personal win. why ?? Because this sets a precedent for the future .congrats mr depp. ”

The movies have abandoned him, and the franchises have also disowned him with any truth. Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 fame Varun Sood also reacted on twitter writing, “Yup” with an image showing Depp’s victory.

Jury members found Depp should be awarded $15 million in punitive damages, while Heard should receive $2 million.

After a six-week trial, the jury decided that Amber smeared Johnny with genuine malice in a 2018 article in The Washington Post. After the win, Johnny released a statement on social media. It reads:
