Hype Williams will accept the Achievement Award in Music Video at the 30th EnergaCamerimage Film Festival, November 12-19 in Torun, Poland.
Filmmaker, visual artist and photographer who has worked with artists and bands including The Notorious BIG, 2Pac, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Beyoncé , DMX, Pharrell Williams and Jennifer Lopez.
His work as a director of music videos and commercials has earned him numerous Grammy, Billboard Music Awards and NAACP Image Awards nominations.
He received the BET Awards Director of the Year, the Michael Jackson MTV Video Vanguard Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the Hip-Hop Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors.
