There are many trending moments this year Billboard Music Awards, with one of JT’s featured moments in The City Girls. Now she’s speaking out about the wardrobe malfunction that made her a trending topic on awards night.
As before It was reported that while on stage to present Doja Cat with the Top R&B Artist award, JT’s underwear was revealed, along with part of her private area. Now, JT has responded to one user on Twitter and said, “I’m wearing black RELAX panties.”
However, in a new interview with Speedy Morman for CombinationJT shared that she did not know how much her private area was exposed on national television until she returned to her seat.
JT said, “We walked up to our stage and the first person we saw was Megan [Thee Stallion] and she was like ‘your girl… the whole… is out.’ And I like, huh? JT went on to say that she had no idea what was happening at the time. “She tried to tell me when I was on stage, but I never looked down,” she explains.
JT said she brushed it off, but when she got back to her seat, she checked her phone to see what everyone was talking about. However, she seems to find a bit of humor in the situation, as she explains that she told Yung Miami the moment was embarrassing, and Yung Miami simply responded and said, “Oh, that is.”
Despite the minor wardrobe malfunction, it looks like the rap duo are taking a look at the situation and getting back into their pockets. They had a successful run at Coachella this year, and now they’re hitting the road with Jack Harlow on Come Home The Kids Miss You Tour. They also shared that they have a new record with Usher that will be dropped soon.
