Justin Long, Augustus Prew (coming soon by Amazon Lord of the Rings series) and Andrea Bang (A million little things) joined the cast of Dear David, film produced by BuzzFeed Studios and Lionsgate.
The movie, based on the ghost story that went viral on Twitter by former BuzzFeed employee Adam Ellis, has ended production and is aiming for a fall 2022 release date. Ellis revealed a ghost story on Twitter in August 2017 revolves around a dead boy who is haunting him and following him everywhere. The story went viral for several months, with Ellis amassing over a million followers.
